Sumatran tigers are the smallest tiger, weighing around 260 pounds and growing to be around eight feet long. They have narrow black stripes with the darkest orange fur of all tiger subspecies.

- Sumatran tigers are carnivores and eat a variety of prey species including wild boar, fish, monkeys and more. These tigers are ambush hunters, hunting primarily at night and can run up to 40 mph in short intervals.
